The Velbon DF-61 is a standard-size, heavy-duty tripod that is ideal for regular SLR cameras and video camcorders. The DF-61 is distinguished by such features as a three-way quick-release pan head for tilts and pans, a sure-grip handle that is positioned on the left side for easy access to the main camera controls, a dual-position quick-release platform, and a geared center platform for quick height adjustments. The three-section aluminium leg assemblies feature sturdy radial braces, flip-lever locks and rubber-tipped feet, all of which make the DF-61 remarkably stable even on rough terrain.
